Harrington Moving Reaches Out to the Community
Harrington Moving & Storage, a leading moving enterprise, announced its continued support of the Valerie Fund Walk.

Harrington Moving & Storage announced it plans once again to participate in the Valerie Fund Walk, Valerie Fund is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders.
“I always stress the importance of volunteering in the community and the Valerie Fund Walk is a great chance for everyone to give back,” said Jeff Harrington, owner of Harrington Moving & Storage.
The Valerie Fund Walk, scheduled to take place on June 9, hopes to raise $1,000,000 this year, so far the Fund has collected from participating teams and individual donors a substantial amount.
“We donate what we can, at the end of the day, any little bit can help,” said Harrington, whose son will complete his chemotherapy treatments this coming June.
The Valerie Fund event, which is set to take place in Verona Park, consists of a 5-Kilometer walk. Prior to the event’s kickoff, JAG Physical Therapy, in partnership with the Valeria Fund, is sponsoring a 5-Kilometer run. Eighty eight days remain to the opening ceremony, and so far 250 participants have registered to both events.
Harrington Moving & Storage has been an active participant in the Valerie Fund Walk for several years. Harrington views his participation as a given.
“Our company is community driven, hence it only makes sense for us to want to participate and donate when we can,” Harrington said.
